Motherhood is the most rewarding journey. But, man, can it get overwhelming! Fifteen years into my parenting journey, I hit burnout. Despite doing therapy, trying to take care of myself, eat right, my body collapsed from the exhaustion. It was more than a physical exhaustion, but stemmed from the mental and emotional load I was carrying.

Then I found breathwork—or perhaps breathwork found me. It saved me. Breathwork taught me how to connect to my body, listen to its cues, shift my state from heightened to calm, move through big emotions, and release trauma I'd been carrying for decades.

I experienced a shift in me and then witnessed a shift in my family. Sure, we still had challenges, hard days, and some big health issues to overcome, BUT the difference was a renewed sense of empowerment. I could hold space, support my child, and create change. The ripple effect was amazing. Our home felt more light, more hopeful, more joyful.
